Maternal Family Day
SAI"( Shitty shit.
It is a good and bright day for me. Maybe because there is no In-Charge to look after me and give me any work. (Slacking again!) Or maybe i am lookig forward to meet dear dear, susu, and jia jia for dinner and shopping later in JP.
I have to change my seat to my friendly IC's place, using her computer and recieve calls for her if there is any. However, her seat is directly in front of our big boss's table. Good thing or being suay?
I have to sit here for 3 days until my friendly IC is back from her holiday. If it is not because of recieving phone calls, i would have shifted myself to where all the temporary staffs are. Far and carefree from all the permanent staffs. I can really really surf net, chat on e-messenger without any worries. Unless one of them came over purposely to look into my monitor. (Dont think that they are so boh liao)
Bu xin zhong de da xin, Luckily, somehow my monitor is slanted to a angle that i dont think the big boss is able to see what i am doing. Wahahaha!!! If you have studied about the differences between a LCD screen and a normal old monitor,CRT, the viewing angle of a LCD screen is limited. Only the person sitted directly in front of the LCD screen or just to a slight angle is able to view my screen. *Mine is a LCD sreen*
For a better understanding or LCD and CRT, you may visit:

Heng ar!!! And i think my big boss is the bo chiap type, think he will close one eye and open the other if he really sees me slacking. SO WHAT??? My company is damn rich!!! They can competently afford my "peanut" pay. There is no big deal.
I came to work this morning feeling rather good. However, my mood was dampened when i started using my friendly IC's computer.
Can you imagine? IT TOOK AROUND 2 MINUTES TO LOAD THE LOTUS NOTES PROGRAM. 2 minutes a short duration? Not at all. Believe me. Stop whatever you are doing now. Stop listening to music, stop reading my blog further. Just look at the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen. Check out the time and wait!!!
NO
NO
NO
NO
NO
NO
It's not time yet!!!
Wait for 2 minutes. I am doing nothing but to wait for my program to start. How torturing it can be for a person who hated "touching" the computer just because of the starting up and the shutting down.
Crazy! It took ages to load a program. This computer system looks rather okay to me. It doesnt look like the old and fragile type which may explode any minute any time. BUT THE SPEED, OMG!!! SAI"(
The worst of all is that i CANT go MSN and even the e-messenger. How am i suppose to survive til 6 pm everyday til wednesday??? There seems to be a problem to log in to e-messenger. I am not able to view to web page.
Furthermore, the web site hangs whenever you wish to move on to another page.I cant check my mails, cant go e-messenger, cant send free sms through the internet, having a real hard time veiwing the web pages. They just keep hanging and i keep refreshing every pages i wanted to surf. Really PISSED off.
How long since this computer had it's deframentation, disk clean up, clearing of old and unwanted files, delete cookies, clear history, or maybe this computer had all it's deleted files left in the recycling bin.
Hey, suddenly i tried signing in to e-messenger, it can be used. Hoo-ray! Hip hip Hoo-ray! Dear dear here i come") Haha. It's the MSN Classic, not the MSN New. It is better than nothing.
SAI SAI SAI"( Kong huan xi yi chang! The web MSN Classic is as slow as a sea horse??? Dont be bewildered by me using sea horse as a example. It is true that a seahorse is the slowest fish and even slower than the slowest mammal on earth.
Guinness World Records: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/content_pages/record.asp?recordid=51348
I decided to log out than to wait for the reply to appear. There goes my 3 days.
What-the-toot!!!
There is problem with the internet connection too. Everyone cant surf the net and are asked to key in some ID and password. WTF!!! (Haha, Where’s the fun? Or maybe)
I have to key my entry into MS Word and copy and paste into the blog later. Hai”( What a day.
Boom!!!
Lets go back to last Friday, 2nd Jun 2006. As everyone is gone in the office, because of that Bangkok trip, I managed to leave the office at 5.55pm. Ha. 5 minutes is better than nothing. I reached JP at 7 pm, after some delay and slow walking, I started work again at 7.30 pm.
Work and work and work.
Luckily there wasn’t many people going for movies, *but popper still as black*. Hence the 3 closer, me, Kwang Wee and Kai Bin managed to complete most of our work in time. We clocked out at 1.37 am.
7 minutes late. Why is that happening? We did most of our cleaning and the floor staff(s) did come in to help, but why are we still late?
HMN: Erm, Kwang Wee ar! We have done most or all other thing liao. Den Kai Bin is still counting his money. Erm, shd we leave something for him to do?
Kwang Wee: Wait for him to do ar? The sun has already risen lor!
HMN: Okay lah. We let him mop the floor.
Haha!!! I didn’t expect Kwang Wee to say something so funny and humorous. Of course in a whisper. It’s around 1.15 am when I start to prepare the mop water and predicted that we can be done by 1.30 am.
Kwang Wee left to do his eos shift. I stood there and supervise him mop the floor. Ha! Lame right? Watch him mop the floor. It’s just a small piece of land but we took so long. Hai”(
Frankly speaking, Kai Bin really did his counting of money and mopping ONLY. Thanks man.
I slept at 3 plus.
Saturday, 3rd June 2006.
“Early in the morning 7 o’clock” (Nursery Rimes) I woke up. Yarned. I am so tired. It’s a long day, slept for 4 hours and I got to wake up again.
Because it’s a family day. My big aunt’s company had organized a family day for its worker to Wild Wild Wet (WWW). Each and every staff is given 4 free tickets. But how the hell for our family of around 20 to go into WWW? Maybe my generous big aunt had paid for the remaining tickets, maybe at a discounted price.
So many of us went for the family day. My cousin clique, my younger cousins, little girls and big boys. My mum, uncles, and aunties. Wow, so many of them til I lazy to count.
We are supposed to reach at 9.30 am out WWW but we are still at home at 8.45 am. Hence my clever sister suggested taking a cab there. But first, we had to travel to Clementi Central. WHY??? Cause we cant take a cab along the express way.
Dots………………….Dots………………….Dots………………….
We took a bus to Clementi Central, and a cab back to the place where we cant flag a cab and down to WWW. Me and sister have our bus concessions. Thus we only wasted around a dollar.
It’s all my brother’s and sister’s fault. They kept rolling in their beds and refused to get up resulting us to take a cab and not a MRT.
The cab cost us $19.80.
After we alighted, we saw our big aunt’s company bus behind us. We meet up and found and cousins alighting from a taxi too. It’s so co incidental. We arrived at the same time. It’s only 9.20 am I think. Expected some of us to be late.
A few of my cousins and auntie were late. Big aunt, auntie and mum are slightly impatient. Hence, we shooed them into WWW first while we the younger ones and cousins kept on waiting and waiting til 10.30 am.
We chatted while we wait and we were aware that there was some tele-match thingy. We swore not to participate. We swore.
The rest of us came. We are all here finally and off we hopped into WWW. Lalalalalalala.........!!!!
Ring Ring... ... Ring Ring... ...
One of Us: Hello
Those who went in 1st: Hello! Where u all? Comin in le ma? Quick QUICK QUICK COME IN.
One of Us: But WHY???
Those who went in 1st: QUICKILY COME IN. BIG AUNT NEED 10 PPL. Just come in quick. Dont ask so much. Big Aunt need 10 ppl now.
One of Us: Okay!
Shit. Oh no. Dont tell us we are really going to participate in the tele-match? Oh no. Die.
We are at the entrance of WWW.
Ring Ring ... ... Ring Ring ... ...
Those who went in 1st: Where are u all? Wa liao! So slow. Quick lah Big aunt need 10 ppl now. Always like that. Drag and drag and drag. Quick lah!
Dots................
What the hell. It was as if we wanted to participate in that tele-match. No lor. We are also erm... traditional human. We are shy too k? Go participate? Never. Why not you guys be in the tele-match too?
It's not that you guys are that old. They keep nagging and sheep-herding us to the stage. We are already young adults, need face too. Hai"( The few of us feeling very irritated and frustrated had no choice but to participate reluctantly. Shit man.
We just dont like to be hurried around doing things we dont like.
There are 4 round of activities.
We are named "Happy Days".
First, it's running in water. It's a relay and 6 people is required. I participated in this activity. Cause no other wanted to run or maybe we are still shy for the first round.
It's easy activity, running in water. We ended up second out of the 4 teams. Not bad.
Second, Stand on a float. This round, all 10 participants are suppose to stand on the large float for 30 seconds. The one with the most people standing will score the most points.
We had substitutes. Around 20 of us. In order to stand on the float, we belief that those with smaller size should play a part. They are smaller, occupying lesser space and lighter.
I opted out immediately. I am fat and heavy. Hence it will not be a advantage for our team. We pulled our little cousins to participate. Wahahahaah! Indeed, all 10 of us managed to stand on the float.
Happy Days tied with a team. If this is the case, we are currently in the first place after the two rounds.
Third, we are needed to fill a bucket with waterusing only 1 small bowl. The one who first fill the bucket to the brim wins.
We sat in the shallow water, and started passing the small bowl of water backwards.
We ended up second again.
The results of the 3 rounds, Happy Days is LEADING. Hoo-Ray!!! *By 5 Points* Hehe!
The last round is the most crucial round. The second team may catch up with us anytime.
It is Captain Ball in Water.
Diao. Captain Ball is nice, i like. But in Water. Dots... ...
We Playing against the 2nd Place.
Scores, we 1 they 0.
1 to 1
1 to 2
2 to 2
3 to 2!!!
Yeah, we won the whole tele-match. With the cooperation from my 1 uncle, many cousins and a friend of my big aunt. We won.
Three-cheers and three-cheers and three-cheers for HAPPY DAYS.
They host made us continued the game. ALthough it was obvious that we are the winner. The winning captain ball team VS the winning captain ball team.
We lost the next round. But who cares. So What if they had won the last game? Their cumulative points are not of our match. Wahaha!
They played so rough. I was the keeper for the second game. The skinny uncle came block me. It's okay. But he banged me, the whole body, into the water. Shit him.
Ob-b-quack my brother blocked one of his shot and hit his bucket off. They are even making a din because of that block. They used jian zhao. The skinny uncle threw the ball beside me all the way to their keeper. I doubt that is acceptable in a real captain ball's game.
What kind of referee?
Guess what is the prize?
It's CUP. Thermal Cups. Dots. Ping si ping huo for the cups?
After the prize presentation, my cousin, Robin, 18 years old this year, and the representatives from the other teams, were asked to do some Chicken Little Dance.
Wahahahaha! So Funny and stupid. Fortunately i am not the one on stage. Yan, my cousin did record down his fang de kai actions. If she did send me the clip, i will show it to you guys k?
We play the horrifying games in WWW and i left earlier to work in JP at 6.10 pm. Long journey from the east back to the west.
Tiring day. Lack of sleep and has been working since friday morning til saturday night, or should i say sunday morning. Very Very luckily, i had Ernest to take over Cindy's shift for another day of closing.
The popper was much much more burnt than on friday night.
Thanks Ernest. You are a very very nice person.
